LIBRARY MATERIALS

BORROWING ITEMS

You can check out books and other materials from our library during the semester break. You can request the item through our catalog. We will work with you to arrange curbside pickup in Lot 28.

Interlibrary loan and MelCat delivery are available. If you request a book or physical item, we will contact you to arrange curbside pickup when we receive the material you requested.

Electronic items may be accessed using OneSearch at any time.

If you are quarantined or working/studying remotely, please contact us to learn about alternative methods for receiving library materials.

RETURNING ITEMS

Items can be returned to the library on November 24, 2020. Please return library materials to Public Safety (Services Building) from November 25 - January 11.

If you have graduated or your faculty/staff position with NMU has ended, please return your library materials as soon as possible.

RENEWING ITEMS

Many library resources are due December 8. Renewals should be requested on or after the item's due date. Items on hold or recalled cannot be renewed. Equipment and reserve items cannot be renewed.

CONTACT A LIBRARIAN

Librarians will be available during the break. Contact them by email or through chat. Because of vacation schedules, we encourage appointments when possible. You can also arrange an online meeting with a Librarian for help finding information, citing sources, and more. Visit the Departmental Liaison page to find a librarian with expertise in your subject area and to schedule an appointment.
