Need a space for late-night studying? Stressed about perfecting your group project? The Lydia M. Olson Library will be offering extended hours in honor of those preparing for finals week.
Beginning Friday, December 3rd, the NMU Police Department will be staffing the extended hours. Although the library spaces will be open and available for all students to utilize, there will be limited resources available during the late-night hours.
The study rooms will not be reservable during these times. Instead, they will function on a first-come, first-serve system. We ask that patrons honor the 2-hour daily time limit for room occupation if someone else is waiting to enter a room.
The extended hours are as follows:
Friday, December 3rd: 5pm-3am
Saturday, December 4th: 9pm-3am
Sunday, December 5th: Midnight - 3am
Monday, December 6th: 11pm-3am
Tuesday, December 7th: 11pm-3am
During all other library hours, services and resources will be available as normal.
If there are any questions or concerns on the availability of our resources and services during these hours, please feel free to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We thank you for your hard work and dedication this semester!
