New Government Documents Available

We also hope this wiki will serve as a resource for librarians and others who are interested in government information and would like to learn more about it.

Ask Lydia: What do I do with my library books? UPDATE

Dear Lydia: What am I supposed to do with my library books? They're all stamped due in March, but I can't get to Olson Library to turn them in. HELP!

My Dear Patrons: Don't worry! The physical library is closed, so don't try to return them. We've adjusted ALL due dates to June 29, 2020. We will continue to let you know how we're handling due dates. You won't be assessed any fines during our physical closure as well. Our priority is ensuring the safety of our staff and patrons.

New Library System to Improve Research and Information Discovery

The new Alma services platform replaces the library’s long-standing management system, Voyager, which has been in use since 2001. The new Primo VE discovery service replaces the current discovery layer, Summon.

Olson Library will join more than 15 Michigan libraries implementing Alma, including the University of Michigan, Central Michigan University, and Michigan Technological University.
