Services and Resources of the Lydia M. Olson Library
First Generation & Veteran Students
As a way to ease the academic transition into Northern Michigan University, the Lydia M. Olson Library offers many services and resources for first-generation and veteran students to connect to similar people when searching for information.
As the liaison to these programs, Bruce Sarjeant is available for reference, research, and referrals in the Lydia M. Olson Library (234 Harden Hall).
He is always more than willing to aid new and non-traditional students in their work, stating, "It's okay to not know everything at once, and students are more than welcome to come to me for help when they're not sure what they're looking for."
