Affirm the Value of Educational Curiosity
Partnering with ASNMU, the Lydia M. Olson Library will be hosting "Free Speech and the Inclusive Campus", a moderated discussion forum on Monday, April 5th at 6 PM in 311 of the library.
Using materials from the National Issues Forum, this moderated forum will give students the opportunity to have their voices heard on the challenging topics. The discussion will confront the three following viewpoints on issues that address the fostering of an inclusive campus community.
Viewpoint 1: Prioritize Student Safety and Well-Being
Viewpoint 2: Affirm the Educational Value of Intellectual Curiosity and engaging with ideas across difference.
Viewpoint 3: Uphold the Ideals of Free Speech.
