Open Use Study Rooms

Available to community members

Through January 10th, 2020, the Lydia M. Olson Library will be offering open use study rooms. Community members without an NMU ID are able to use select rooms until the start of classes.

Rooms are located on the library upper floor and do not require you to check-in at the front desk. All rooms offer a whiteboard. Select rooms contain a monitor with HDMI connectivity. We ask that you limit your use of a room to 2-hour time increments in case others are waiting.

Visitors are welcome to use the rooms for video/phone interviews, test preparation, job searching or simply a quiet space to focus.

The library offers open use study rooms during every academic break and throughout the summer term. For any questions about open use study rooms, please contact the library by emailing library@nmu.edu, calling 906-227-2250 or visiting in person.
