Spotlight On: Anatomy.TV

Lydia M. Olson Library offers an abundance of online resources to support your scholarship. We invite you to explore Anatomy.TV. 

Anatomy.TV offers medically accurate, detailed renderings of human anatomy. Using real scan data, the models are built to offer a high degree of accuracy, with detailed 3-D models of all structures. Viewers can rotate models 360-degrees and add or remove anatomy layers. Anatomy.TV also provides links to text, dissections, clinical slides, diagrams, video clips, and MRI Scan images.

To access Anatomy.TV, head to library.nmu.edu and select “Find” on the menu, then scroll down to “Databases.”

Selecting “Databases” brings you a list of databases in alphabetical order.

Scroll down to “Anatomy.TV, “ and select it.

This will bring you to the Anatomy.TV  interface, and from here you can navigate to the Anatomy.TV landing page.

This main page will allow you to scroll through the different anatomy models. To get more information, simply click on the image you’d like to explore.

In addition to the resources available and navigation tools, you can scroll over the model image to highlight and name different structures.
