Work Breakdown
- 75% Web & Digital Media: Design clear web layouts/mockups (Figma), photograph library events, create promotional graphics, and edit short instructional videos.
- 25% Library Communications: Write web announcements and create engaging content for library social media channels.
- Skills You'll Build: Practical training in web accessibility standards (alt-text, closed captioning), content management systems, and professional design tools.
Qualifications
- Eligible for NMU student employment.
- Interest in graphic design, web design, photography, video editing, or social media.
- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new software.
- Note: You do not need to be proficient in every software tool to apply—a willingness to learn is what matters most. Coursework or prior experience in design/communications is a plus, but not required.
