Celebrating Open Education at NMU

Join us for a reception to celebrate open education at NMU. We will recognize members of our inaugural OER Faculty Learning Community, and discuss how open pedagogy can foster academic excellence at NMU while supporting our vision of equity and inclusion. 

At the event, the 2023-24 OER Faculty Learning Community members will present on their OER projects. This years members include: Jon Barch (Psychological Science), Yan Ciupak (Sociology), Nancy Gold (English), Mlado Ivanovic (Philosophy), Kaycee Jacobson (Nursing), Kathryn Johnson (History), Lanae Joubert (Nutrition), Z.Z. Lehmberg (English) and Kathryn Newton (Chemistry).
