The Lydia M. Olson Library's temporary location in Gries Hall offers virtual reality areas for students, faculty, and staff to explore entertainment, creative, and educational apps.

Located on the first floor of Gries Hall, along the Study Room hallway, the VR area currently houses three PCs with tethered Meta Quest 2 headsets.

Our student assistants are available to assist you in getting started, and suggest specific apps.

Mason Kloski

My name is Mason Kloski. I am a transfer student from Ferris State University where I received my associate degree in Digital Media with a background in digital art, videography, and game design among other digital media arts. I am currently a junior in the Environmental Studies program at NMU. In my free time I like to create art, write and read fiction, and go on hikes!

Noah Shevy

My name is Noah Shevy. I am a freshman in the physics program here at NMU. I like to spend my free time thinking, hiking, or creating art.
