The Library now has a subscription to the New York Times (Online). Included is access to the TimeMachine, which allows you to search or browse PDFs of the newspaper back to 1851, the Book Review section, and the New York Times Magazine! This is a great addition to the Library's resources! Unfortunately for foodies and puzzle masters, the subscription does not include the Cooking section or crosswords.
To activate your account go to this link on the Library's database page, which allows you to register your NMU email address and create a password. From that point forward, you can simply go to nytimes.com and log in with your credentials. If you currently have a personal subscription with your NMU email address, you will need to cancel that first, and then connect your NMU email address to our institutional account via the link above. If you wish to add a personal subscription to the Cooking section or crosswords, you can do so after creating your institutional account.
